Impact Connects is a privately held organization with two primary divisions: Impact and Infinity Direct. Impact specializes in high-quality direct mail and print solutions, while Infinity Direct offers comprehensive direct marketing services tailored to a wide range of industries. We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Lead Financial Analyst to enhance our financial operations and support the ongoing success of our companies.


Core Responsibilities:

As the Lead Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in overseeing the financial activities of both Impact and Infinity Direct. This role will involve close collaboration with the financial leadership of both divisions and will require a balanced presence across both offices, along with remote work flexibility.

This position demands a proactive individual with a solid grasp of financial management principles, proficiency in ERP and accounting software, and a strong background in cost analysis and job costing methodologies. The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  1. Monthly Financial Oversight:
    • Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of monthly financial reports.
    • Working alongside financial leaders to ensure accurate and timely financial closing processes.
    • Conducting variance analysis to provide insights that inform strategic business decisions.
    • Supporting invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  2. ERP and Financial Systems Management:
    • Collaborating with financial leaders to optimize our accounting systems and controls.
    • Monitoring and maintaining existing financial systems, addressing issues as they arise.
  3. Tax Compliance:
    • Researching and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
    • Coordinating with external tax consultants to stay updated on tax law changes.
    • Overseeing the timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
  4. Financial Analysis and Strategic Support:
    • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure precise cost allocation for individual projects.
    • Analyzing job cost data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancements.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring cash flow related to operational expenses and providing financial insights for special projects.


Performance Evaluation: Performance assessments will occur regularly, with feedback provided verbally and in writing. Recognition will be given in monthly meetings, and formal training will be provided as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CPA certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar financial role, ideally within the printing or direct mail sectors.
  • Familiarity with ERP and accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and job costing.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Proficient in reading and interpreting procedural documents and company policies.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet various deadlines. Capable of applying common sense to execute detailed instructions.

Mathematical Skills:

Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and capable of interpreting financial data and reports.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular sitting, use of hands for typing, and effective communication. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds may be necessary. Visual acuity for close and distance work is required.

Work Environment:

The role is primarily office-based, with exposure to production areas. The noise level may vary from moderate to loud depending on the environment.
