Who We Are Looking For

AuditBoard is seeking a Partner Development Manager to assist in the activation and acceleration of our strategic partners. The Partner Development Manager will utilize a strong background in audit, risk and compliance related areas of focus mixed with AuditBoard product expertise to develop and execute 'tech-led' enablement activities related to sales and go-to-market, product, and solutions development to convey the value proposition of how AuditBoard's solutions can be leveraged by our partners with their clients.

This person will establish a market development strategy through identification of partner practice areas of focus to perform executive briefings, product demonstrations and training, product feedback and assistance, and assisting in partner solution development. They will seek to generate new sales opportunities for AuditBoard to be referred by partners, and work seamlessly with various internal AuditBoard functions, including sales, alliance managers, product, marketing, to drive field penetration and traction.

Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with Alliance lead(s) to seek out opportunities to evangelize AuditBoard's value to partners.
  • Lead compelling demonstrations and training of the AuditBoard suite of products to AuditBoard partners tailored to a partners GTM approach, either through virtual or onsite meetings
  • Maintain accurate mapping of partners' field teams, penetration rates across our practice lines, and identify opportunities to increase our footprint
  • Maintain deep competitive intelligence to present key product competitive differentiators to partners (and provide feedback to AB's competitive intel team)
  • Mentor and cross-train partner resources and develop partner members' skills+expertise
  • Support AuditBoard's key partners as the go-to subject matter expert on AuditBoard's Connected Risk strategy
  • Work cross-functionality with Product, Engineering, CAS, Marketing, Sales and Legal, serving as an advocate to partners
  • Manage and maintain partner demo sites and sandboxes
  • Attend select networking events and conferences to build relationships that will create new business opportunities

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • 5-9 years working experience within Big 4 consulting, Internal Audit, Compliance and/or Risk Management
  • BS in Accounting, Information Systems, Business or related field
  • Expert understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal audit methodology. Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management is preferred
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking and project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Successful demonstrated experience managing and working with internal cross-functional teams and product engineering groups required
  • Successful demonstrated experience communicating and reporting to Senior leadership
  • Nice to have: understanding of common compliance frameworks such as COBIT, SOC, COSO, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST and industry recognized guidance such as NIST
  • Ability to flourish in a high growth and fast paced tech environment
  • Is a builder, and works well in newly created roles, and enjoys building relationships and programs
  • Ability to travel for onsite meetings. Expectation 30%-40%
  • Deep understanding of AuditBoard functionality/technical product preferred
