What You'll Do

The Events + Meeting Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient conference room and amenity space experiences through bookings and execution, while providing the highest level of customer service. The right candidate will have a genuine desire to bring hospitality to the workplace, excellent attention to detail, and technical agility to learn new products and features.

How You'll Do It

  • Manage all aspects of amenity space bookings and execution including: intake, client communications, creating and displaying signage, set up and tear down of conference spaces, providing supplies and materials, troubleshooting AV/IT needs in the conference spaces, and documentation tracking and invoicing for all bookings.
  • Provide a 5-star experience to all meeting and event attendees and key stakeholders at the property, including learning + anticipating needs and preferences.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of A/V equipment and technology in conference rooms, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and other related equipment and proactively troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Work with F+B team and preferred partners to coordinate catering for meetings and events.
  • Coordinate with building teams (property management, janitorial, security, maintenance) as needed to support conference and event needs.
  • Offer surprise and delight moments to improve tenant experiences.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clear and effective communication and dissemination of information. Understand and follow the process for communication, and how and when information is shared.
  • Organization and task management: Ability to manage multiple organizational tools and communications, and organize documents and information effectively and consistently. Prioritize work and effectively delegate tasks. Able to juggle multiple projects and high volume of communication simultaneously.
  • Customer centric: Meets and exceeds customer needs. Displays service excellence and hospitality mindset always.
  • Team-oriented: Thrives in a team-based environment. Navigates change and unpredictability with a positive attitude while working with team members to solve problems.

Desired Skills + Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in event management, conference room or amenity management and/or hospitality industry
  • Experience in managing conference room or event space technology and troubleshooting IT or A/V issues
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer experiences in any environment
  • Ability to think proactively and troubleshoot potential issues before they arise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Google suite and MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work with all levels of staffing, other management and clientele
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
