Job Title: Manager, Event Finance

QuintEvents is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Event Finance to join our team. As a key member of our event finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing events with revenue exceeding $5M and programs with revenue exceeding $50M.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present budgets and forecasts for a portfolio of global sporting events in partnership with colleagues across departments and around the world.
  • Be the subject matter expert on the commercial and financial elements of events, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Proactively track periodic results and identify areas of over/under performance, working with the team to deliver events on budget.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and with the financial planning and analysis team to inform company-wide financial models.
  • Prepare and deliver post-event summaries to senior management and external partners, highlighting key insights and business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with ERP accounting and FP&A software, a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with all levels within the organization.
