QuintEvents is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Event Finance to join our team. As a key member of our event finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing events with revenue exceeding $5M and programs with revenue exceeding $50M.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present budgets and forecasts for a portfolio of global sporting events in partnership with colleagues across departments and around the world.
- Be the subject matter expert on the commercial and financial elements of events, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends.
- Proactively track periodic results and identify areas of over/under performance, working with the team to deliver events on budget.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and with the financial planning and analysis team to inform company-wide financial models.
- Prepare and deliver post-event summaries to senior management and external partners, highlighting key insights and business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with ERP accounting and FP&A software, a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with all levels within the organization.
