American Express' Global Commercial Services (GCS) business offers a wide range of card and payment programs, expense management tools, consulting services, business financing and cross-border payments solutions to small businesses, mid-sized companies, and large corporations around the world.

The Product Management team within B2B Solutions operates within the broader organization to develop solutions and digital products for multiple growth segments of American Express. Specifically, we lead the supplier payments product strategy to create best-in-class B2B digital solutions for buyers and suppliers.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Assess, construct and deliver a robust operational agenda that will support the technical delivery of the upgraded platform.Assess customer impact as part of the platform change management and drive workstreams to support customers through the transition as neededWork collaboratively with all key business partners and stakeholders to ensure that all key deliverables required are considered as part of the agenda. Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are considered as part of transitioning our products to a new platform.Ensuring all business partners responsible for workstreams are delivering in accordance with the milestones and project objectives / deliverables.Minimum QualificationsUniversity degree or equivalent experienceExperience and knowledge of B2B payments Proactive, self-starter with a results-driven mindset and outstanding project management skillsProven track record of solving complex business challenges, showing the initiative required to figure out solutions and navigate ambiguity to chart a path forwardStrong collaboration and influencing skills with demonstrable experience leading or working with cross-functional teamsDeliver results in an environment that requires a strong coordination and alignment across multiple teams, including Global Product Management/Development, Sales, Partnerships, Servicing, Operations, Legal & Compliance, among othersExcellent oral and written communications skills. Proven ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely to audiences at all levels, including to Senior Product and Commercial leadership.Strong customer focus with proven ability to translate customer pain points and marketplace understanding into best-in-class and economically viable solutions.Preferred Qualifications5+ Years experience in a Product role (preferably Product Management) MBA degree preferredStrong knowledge of B2B payments and associated customer needsStrong organizational skills with ability to project manage and prioritise against a robust set of customer requirements.Strong relationship management skills across a diverse network, including collaborating with and influencing partners both in-person and virtuallyBuild close and collaborative relationships with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external partners, being the connective tissue across teams to drive a successful project and customer outcome.Ability to influence key business partners on the priority of work to be doneExperience and comfort in managing large-scale migrations of customers and prioritising work with key stakeholders to formulate working with internal stakeholders to drive prioritised outcomes is desirableDevelop and execute go-to-market strategy in partnership with marketing, product development and the field, including the creation of marketing collateralDemonstrates a growth mindset that embraces change and is adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environmentExperience in supply chain finance and/or receivables finance, FinTech or digital payments platform/provider preferred Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
