Position: Senior Account Manager
Department: Account Management
Role Summary:
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic development and execution of brand initiatives, while also contributing to the overall strategic vision. This role transcends routine project management, focusing on comprehensive brand stewardship. The Senior Account Manager will mentor and guide junior account team members, fostering their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend the creative workflow and propose enhancements for existing campaigns.
- Possess a holistic view, identifying critical issues and offering proactive strategic and tactical insights.
- Exhibit mastery of brand categories and competitive intelligence, including key research findings.
- Explore innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
- Analyze market trends and research, formulating and articulating strategic recommendations for the brand.
- Oversee the tactical planning process while contributing to the design of tactical initiatives.
- Communicate significant client matters and initiatives to the team.
- Manage the creation of competitive analyses.
- Identify key issues, objectives, and strategies.
- Supervise the development of tactics, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee the internal approval process.
- Keep senior management informed about account activities.
- Promote a positive and productive team environment, establishing credibility both internally and externally.
- Enhance and maintain client relationships.
- Engage in regular communication with clients at all levels, becoming an integral part of their team.
- Ensure all agency outputs reflect our highest standards—strategically sound, creatively compelling, and error-free.
- Advocate for a positive perception of the client within the agency.
- Understand client perspectives and challenges, effectively communicating these to the agency team.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and actively seek opportunities for account expansion.
- Foster client awareness of the agency's needs and perspectives.
- Establish credibility with clients at all levels.
- Communicate professionally and effectively, both internally and externally.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Prioritize effectively while managing multiple projects and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Project a professional and positive demeanor towards peers and clients.
- Embody a service-oriented mindset and uphold quality standards in client service.
- Maintain accurate records of time and project management.
- Encourage a collaborative team atmosphere, showing respect for colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in an agency or comparable environment (experience in healthcare marketing preferred).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft essential documents (e.g., Creative Briefs).
- Maturity to manage senior-level client interactions.
- Understanding of business principles.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in marketing and advertising.
- Ability to manage and mentor staff, including prioritizing creative resources.
