Atria Senior Living is redefining luxury senior living by providing an enriching environment where residents can thrive and continue their pursuits. We are seeking a dedicated RN Nurse Supervisor to enhance our resident care services.

The compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience.


Key Responsibilities

The RN Nurse Supervisor will assist the Care Coordination Director in managing resident care initiatives. This role includes overseeing the medication management program and ensuring compliance within the medication room, while also supporting the Wellness Director and Resident Service team.

Resident Care Support

  • Develop and maintain a medication administration system that complies with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Administer medications as permitted by state guidelines when necessary.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as required.
  • Collaborate with the Memory Care Director to uphold medication management standards.
  • Provide backup support by fulfilling the roles of Resident Services Assistant or Resident Medication Assistant as needed.
  • Supervise, mentor, and schedule nursing staff in alignment with community policies and standards.
  • Deliver Wellness Coaching to residents as part of their personalized service plans, following completion of the Mayo Clinic Wellness Coach Training.

Care Coordination Support

  • Handle communications from physicians, pharmacies, and families, taking appropriate actions.
  • Manage resident documentation, including charts and appointment schedules.
  • Keep track of resident assessment due dates and notify the Care Coordination Director accordingly.
  • Organize transportation for residents to external healthcare appointments.

Community Support

  • Assist the Wellness Director in the recruitment of new nursing staff.
  • Provide training and orientation for nursing and medication assistant personnel, along with ongoing development for current staff.
  • Evaluate and enhance the performance of nursing and medication assistant staff.
  • Encourage and support staff verbally.
  • Exhibit adaptability by embracing changes and maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet the evolving needs of residents promptly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through diligent service.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and monitor for safety concerns, reporting any issues to the Wellness Director and Care Coordination Director.
  • Serve as a role model for staff by maintaining professionalism and adhering to dress code standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure is required.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification as mandated by state regulations.
  • Completion of Atria's Medication Management training and other required training programs.
  • Fulfillment of all state-mandated training for licensure or certification.
  • Management experience or training is preferred.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and presenting information.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Flexibility in work hours is necessary due to the demands of the position.
  • Driving responsibilities may be required; a valid driver's license is essential.
  • Compliance with Atria's motor vehicle policy standards is mandatory.
