About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team at WinnCompanies. As a Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Rent Stabilized community, ensuring that all aspects of the property are well-maintained and that our residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Collaborate with senior management to establish and review all matters related to rent, occupancy, and property maintenance.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Maintain an optimum level of occupancy through proactive marketing and leasing efforts.
  • Resident Services: Process timely and accurate move-ins, move-outs, recertifications, and renewals, ensuring that all resident files are organized, complete, and accurate.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all state and federal program regulations relating to the property, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Team Management: Hire, develop, and support new team members in accordance with Winn's Guiding Principles, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant work experience, with 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of property management, LIHTC and HUD regulations, landlord/tenant laws, and experience with various computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, and strong supervisory skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Software Experience: Experience with Property Management Software, Yardi, Realpage, etc.
  • Certifications: Certifications in NAHP, CPL, SHCM, CAM (MA – C3P) or CAM – RAM & ARM, CGPM – NAA or NAMA.
