The Account Coordinator provides technical backup for the client servicing and production staff, to support the production of new business and retention of current clients.

Core Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Assist other teammates and the sales team in obtaining market information and conducting research.
  • Document renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance documents into the agency management database.
  • Establish, cultivate, and manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients.
  • Evaluate all proposals and prepare the Request for Qualifications ("RFQ"), as assigned.
  • Respond to client questions and maintain appropriate correspondence files.
  • Provide member advocacy via email and call center line on issues dealing with claims, enrollment, services, and access to care.
  • Assist in the review of internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, summary plan documents (SPD's), and employee communications to ensure alignment with client expectations and legal requirements.
  • Assist in client-specific projects as assigned, including but not limited to the implementation of a carrier transition, dependent verification audits, billing reconciliation, wellness initiatives, compensation statements, enrollment processing, and consultant invoicing.
  • Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude in the department and office.
  • Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal and external performance standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, as needed.
  • Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures; including professional development and continuing education required for valid licensing.
  • Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Nevada Health and Life license (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer software and online systems, including MS Office, Demonstrate a deep understanding of Excel formulas and functions, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with agency management systems; prior experience with AMS360 and/or Image Right is a plus.
  • Effective communication, service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines, with a commitment to thorough task completion.

Pay Range:

  • Between $18-$20/hr, based on experience.
