Job Summary

The Senior Talent Development Specialist will help create a culture of continuous learning and growth at ECMC Group by maintaining, developing, enhancing and delivering talent development solutions, resources and programs. The person in this role will partner with a talented team in HR to: support business goals; engage and retain employees; and improve individual, team and organizational performance. This role will leverage learning and development expertise to create meaningful employee experiences, provide individualized guidance, build leadership and employee capabilities and measure results intended to drive continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage existing leader and employee development resources, tools and programs; ensure content is relevant, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Use instructional design technologies (e-learning, instructor-led, self-paced materials & job aids etc.), authoring tools (Articulate, etc.), and virtual facilitation tools to develop and enhance talent solutions and offerings.
  • Facilitate programs and offerings for employees and leaders via classroom and online delivery, using adult learning principles.
  • Analyze offerings and solutions external to ECMC Group; leverage, curate and manage vendor relationships and resources to support our organization's needs.
  • Consult with business leaders and conduct needs analyses to identify talent development opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions; use data/trends to inform recommendations for and creation of new talent development projects.
  • Support the marketing and communication of our talent development content, solutions and programs by writing clear and effective messages that convey appropriate levels of detail.
  • Provide thought leadership and build strong networks with internal and external subject matter experts, stakeholders and customers.
  • Ensure existing and new learning content meets company policy and regulatory requirements as needed, and is clear, accurate, consistent in style and format and free of spelling and grammatical errors.
  • Use a learning management system to add/update new learning courses and ensure learning content is accessible and organized.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field and 5+ years of relevant work experience or High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., talent development, training, learning & development, consulting, organization effectiveness or similar relevant work experience).
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creatively designing, developing and facilitating training and learning solutions using instructional design technologies (e-learning, instructor-led, self-paced materials & job aids, etc.), web-based authoring tools (Articulate, etc.) and virtual facilitation tools.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience with driving leadership development efforts (e.g., building leader capability in coaching, mentoring, delivering feedback, driving growth, engaging, leading authentically, fostering belonging, etc.)
  • Experience consulting on/diagnosing talent development needs.
  • Experience leading project/process work that showcases attention to detail and organizational ability to effectively organize, plan, control and prioritize work/projects.
  • High level of comfort with Microsoft Office tools, including advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint for developing polished learning solutions and reference materials and Excel for basic analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs, principals and initiatives, including facilitating DEI-based content.
  • Experience with providing coaching and/or one on one or small group guidance to support employees and leaders in their professional development
  • Experience with supporting broader talent management programs such as employee engagement, talent assessment, goal setting, succession planning and performance management.
  • Experience working in and/or managing a learning management system (e.g. Workday).
