About this role:

The Region Manager (RM) for BSC's Endoscopy Division has responsibility for the Territory Manager team in their region which includes people leadership and development, strategic leadership, collaborative leadership with resources to support the market, and driving performance leadership at an individual and team level. This territory covers the Northern Virginia, DC North, and Maryland, candidates may reside Northern Virginia, DC, or Baltimore. Field time is expected to be approximately 70%. The RM also collaborates with the Director of Sales and peers on the sales management team to contribute to and execute divisional leadership priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performance / Strategic

  • Integrates individual territory plans into a broader regional sales plan and coaches sales team accordingly.
  • Prepares quarterly regional sales business plans and participates in the determination of market potential and sets direction and provides oversight to individual territory manager business plans.

People/Team/Collaborative

  • Coaches territory managers on selling skills and targeting of accounts. Shares personal selling experiences in a way that motivates others and teaches applicable skills.
  • Attend and take part in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses and trainings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key BSC functional areas.
  • Maintains talent mindset and actively develops TMs on the team, in addition to recruiting of future BSC sales representative candidates.
  • Ensures that policies are followed in recruiting and selecting the best talent.
  • Spends a minimum of 70% time in the field with each sales representative to support their professional development needs and to maintain and develop strong relationships and understand of the customer. Conducts regular field assessments, coaching and development activities with the Division ATMs and actively mentors tenured TMs.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency in all required areas.
  • Candidate is viewed by his/her peers as a leader and role model.
  • Must be goal oriented and demonstrate the ability to achieve goals in a team environment.
  • Must be able to build and maintain relationships at all levels of organization and customers.
  • Must be able to effectively access talent and recruit.

  • Sales Management experience
  • Industry experience in GI Endoscopy
