This role will be responsible for achieving revenue targets by leading the design, implementation and execution of successful sports wagering products and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create an operational plan for operating and maintaining a retail sportsbook in a B&M casino environment.
- Train a team of clerks tasked with operating the retail sportsbook desk.
- Foster and manage relationships with existing and potential 3 rd sportsbook software/hardware partners.
- Supervise and enhance live operations in collaboration with our technology providers.
- Identify strategies and opportunities to introduce a sportsbook product to the brands existing customer base.
- Liaise with customer base in person to provide product education and develop loyal relationships.
- Scale organizational capability based on demand.
- Leverage the use of analytics to provide insights, make recommendations to reach players in new ways.
- Collaborate with 3 rd party software providers on automated risk management programs.
- Using a pre-approved budget, plan and execute sports related events on property for spreading awareness and acquiring customers.
- 7+ years' experience in gaming and or sportsbook related management roles.
- Ability to obtain a Casino Key Employee License successfully.
- Experience and demonstrated capability to make data driven decisions to continually optimize performance within established constraints.
- Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills to clearly articulate ideas, frame problems and offer solutions.
- Balanced strategic and tactical thinker with strong presentation, problem-solving, analytical, budget management skills and understanding of ROI analysis.
