Role Overview
The Senior Application Security Specialist will report to the Senior Application Security Architect and will oversee the ongoing security management of the Collectibles application environment. This role involves identifying, monitoring, and addressing potential threats to our customer-facing eCommerce, mobile, and next-generation platforms. The Specialist will collaborate with Business, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure that security measures are integrated throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle and across platforms to adhere to corporate minimum standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed about current security threats relevant to our industry, with a focus on eCommerce ecosystems.
  • Ensure continuous protection of customer-facing corporate platforms.
  • Automate security processes within a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Secure and fortify cloud infrastructure.
  • Engage in development and feature planning discussions for new products and functionalities.
  • Assist with Threat Modeling for both existing and new applications and platforms.
  • Support Web Application and Mobile Application penetration testing efforts.
  • Provide security requirements and guidance to development teams for mobile and web-based products.
  • Manage firewall, WAF, and DDoS protection strategies.
  • Maintain security tools and technologies.
  • Assist development teams in triaging and remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Generate meaningful KPIs and executive-level reports.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in developing secure software development lifecycles and coding standards.
  • At least 2 years' experience with SAST and DAST, including mobile applications.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in testing mobile applications for security vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience in securing container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Threat Modeling methodologies, including STRIDE.
  • Proficiency in scripting is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, CSSLP, OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, GWAPT, GCPN.
