About this role:

The Personal Lending CRO Loss Forecasting and Analytics group is looking for an experienced Lead Credit Risk Officer to lead portfolio analytics and risk appetite across Personal Lending. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills, high degree of initiative, strong partnering and interpersonal skills, solid project/process management skills, as well as critical analytical thinking and SAS coding skills. Qualified candidates must also possess a results driven attitude committed to quality work.

In this role, you will:

  • Mentor less senior individual contributors in roles with moderate complexity and risk
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with initiatives that cross multiple areas of the company in scope with significant impact and risk
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development to drive the company credit culture, desire, and business performance
  • Lead complex and advanced analytic projects
  • Build relationships with corporate, business heads, Legal, Audit, regulators and industry partners on risk related topics
  • Interact with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of SAS programming experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an analytic field, including but not limited to Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business
  • Knowledge and experience with Advanced Analytic Tools and Techniques including Machine Learning
