YOUR ROLE

Under general supervision of the VP of Security, NORTAM, the Director of Corporate Security is responsible for developing and implementing policies to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, and/or customers in CEVA's facilities, and for securing the property and assets owned by the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Provides leadership to the administration and operation of the regional physical security program and its Regional Security Managers.
  • Keeps abreast with all security related information, directives, and events, and takes appropriate actions to ensure security personnel is trained properly to manage potential issues or breaches.
  • Responds to critical events that impact the organization.
  • Coordinates with law enforcement and other officials or agencies as appropriate.
  • Creates strategies and specific objectives and develops budgets, policies, and procedures to support the security infrastructure.
  • Maintains and utilizes a network of security experts, resources, and law enforcement contacts to ensure the safety and security of company assets and employees.
  • Works with other business owners on developing approaches to monitor and secure assets through a combination of physical safeguards and global electronic systems such as CCTV surveillance and access control systems.
  • Work closely with internal IT to plan for new projects and ensuring that all security systems remain operational
  • Conducts threat assessments of CEVA locations and makes recommendations for areas of improvement.
  • Provides training and awareness programs for employees to ensure knowledge of security standards and policies.
  • Subject to working outside of normal business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may travel up to 50%.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field
  • Possesses security certifications (i.e., CPP) with ASIS International
  • 10+ years' experience in private sector investigation, law enforcement or military
  • Knowledge of current technology security standards
  • Experience with successfully managing security vendor services
  • Experience with preparing budgets and analyzing financial data
  • Experience collaborating with multiple departments on large scale initiatives & projects
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in Supply Chain or other manufacturing or distribution industry
  • Experience with global CCTV and access control platforms
