Position Overview:

The Security Administrator will play a crucial role within the Booz Allen Hamilton corporate security division, focusing on the analysis of U.S. government security policies and protocols related to a Personnel Security (PERSEC) program. This role requires adherence to the NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and other relevant government directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while demonstrating adaptability and prioritization skills.
  • Manage client expectations in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Conduct security briefings and perform clearance pre-screens.
  • Process personnel for clearance actions and verify visit requests.
  • Maintain and update various security databases.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Address personnel security matters with employees and perform additional security duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in personnel and industrial security.
  • Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and eAPP systems.
  • Understanding of NISPOM, DoD directives, EOs, or ICDs.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in personnel and industrial security.
  • Completion of DCSA courses in Personnel Security Management and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
