You will be working on a FODL application and managing the train. This one of the key platforms on critical path of FF/FM which is an environment within American Express's big data platform, Cornerstone, that has been deployed to meet the analytical data needs of Finance and its business partners. The FODL provides a 360 degree view of card transactional data in multi-dimensional views (customer, product, merchant, client, & GNS partner) at multiple levels of detail, from transactional to aggregated, and is the data power behind much of the current Management Reporting Cutover, SECM and FTP modernization implementations. The data within the FODL is either sourced directly from the systems of record, approved aggregators or by linking to other groups' Cornerstone Organized Data Layers (ODLs). RTE would handle FODL FTT Train.

In this role you will:

Work closely with the Product Program Manager and across the Technical Project Managers of Finance portfolio encompassing multiyear initiatives such as Fast Forward and Finance Modernization initiatives to develop a deep understanding of the products and featuresProvides a portfolio level view across all products that shows progress of what has been committed on a pre-defined cadenceWork with Product PMO and E2E Teams on roadmaps, deliverables and other required artifactsDefine and manage how the teams should be operating to allow visibility into the delivery processContinued coaching for the teams on best practices around sizing, grooming, prioritization, dependency mapping, etc.Facilitate conversations / solutioning between teams and identify/close dependencies or linkagesRun retros, sprint planning and demos, etc.Lead Program Increment (PI) process: capturing requirements, coordinating meetings, partner with product, engineering, and other customer teams.Publish commitments of planning sessions (whether they be sprint or PI planning sessions)Co-Lead monthly product and tech syncs with leadership team, providing updates and escalating risksTrouble-shoot issues and surface up impediments with deliveryHandle the Rally process (Capabilities, Features, User Stories, acceptance criteria process), request spaces, ensure consistency in set-up, enable necessary fields, and metrics dashboardsQualifications:7+ years of experience working as a Release Train Engineer/ Scrum Master preferably working on complex, enterprise level platformsDeep experience with teams working in Agile delivery and SAFe (Scaled Agile Frameworks) a plusStrong attention to detailLoves working in an entrepreneurial environment that is lean, fast paced, and dynamic.A strong "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration.Ability to lead through influenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to quickly create relationships and build trust with internal and external collaborators.Preferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge and experience with Rally and ConfluenceMaster's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline RTE and other Agile certifications a plus Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
