Position: DevOps Engineer - Source Technology
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with a strong background in SonarQube, Bash scripting, and GitHub Actions. This position is essential for refining our CI/CD processes, automating development workflows, and maintaining high standards of code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- SonarQube Management: Set up and oversee SonarQube to ensure continuous code quality, integrating it seamlessly into our CI/CD workflows.
- Bash Scripting: Create and enhance Bash scripts for automation tasks, including deployment and system monitoring.
- GitHub Actions: Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, ensuring integration with various tools for a smooth development experience.
- CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Streamline CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency, scalability, and minimize build durations.
- Build Process Management (Maven/Gradle): Oversee build processes using Maven/Gradle, guaranteeing reliable and consistent outputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams, offering technical assistance and engaging in code review processes.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes and produce reports on code quality and pipeline efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SonarQube, Bash scripting, GitHub Actions, and build tools such as Maven/Gradle.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in DevOps, Build/Release Engineering, or related fields. Familiarity with Git/GitHub and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is advantageous.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages (Python, Perl) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Understanding of infrastructure as code principles (Terraform, Ansible).
