ManTech is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Herndon, VA. As a Project Manager on our team, you will act as the Scrum Master on a high-performing Cybersecurity team supporting the planning and execution of full life-cycle solutions. You'll work with internal and external program stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to achieve project objectives. You'll also provide scrum master support for a small team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that innovates solutions for the Cyber Incident Response Team. The ideal candidate will be flexible and hands-on, demonstrating a willingness to fill project team needs as required to achieve customer mission.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Management duties: work with the Front office staff to identify project needs and required tasks, organize project activities, and manage project tasks and objectives to meet the customer mission.
  • Scrum Master duties: Daily Stand-up, support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, assist with preparation for Sprint Review and Planning sessions. Act as the Agile SME for the team and customer.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with mission partners.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and attend meetings as directed by the Front Office.
  • Communicate with customer and internal leadership to keep them aware of statuses related to creation, coordination, and approval of project phases.
  • Prepare briefings and present summaries about status at review board meetings.
  • Facilitate technical exchange meetings for stakeholders, as needed.
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure requirements are effectively defined and assessed.
  • Conduct programmatic analysis and provide strategic recommendations for activities or projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with IT project management
  • Experience with Project Management and Change Management tools such as Jira or ServiceNow
  • Experience with the Agile process and serving as a Scrum Master
  • Experience providing systems engineering or project management for a matrixed team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years supporting customers and programs in the IC Community
  • PMP or ITIL certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or High School Diploma plus 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Clearance Requirements: Active/current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
