Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient in encryption technologies and protocols
  • Skilled in operating systems and network architecture
  • Experienced with database technologies and data protection
  • Knowledgeable about networking protocols like OSI model, TCP/IP, MPLS, SONET, Ethernet
  • Familiar with routing, switching, firewalls, and information security policies
  • Experienced in cloud computing and virtual machine technology
  • Expertise in information storage and cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and their mitigations
  • Capable of providing technical guidance to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Skilled in conducting security reviews and assessments
  • Knowledgeable about information security best practices and risk management
  • Proficient in identifying and managing information security risks
  • Ability to make informed decisions and explain reasoning effectively
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, cyber security, or related field
  • Familiarity with Sponsor's Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process and Project Management Framework
  • Understanding of Sponsor's IT infrastructure and network architecture
  • Experience with the Sponsor's cloud environment
Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
