The Position

This Director role is a highly visible leader responsible for developing and implementing User Experience strategy for the global Business Technology organization. This position will be pivotal in driving the adoption of Agile UX practices related to augmented intelligence and automation, facilitating workshops and sprints that identify opportunities and turn them into solutions. In addition, this role with drive training for Business Technology focused on future state skill requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate product design sprints and UX workshops to rapidly innovate and iterate on AI, automation, and employee-facing solutions.
  • Partner with various parts of the organization to harmonize user experience and identify pain points, with particular focus on how employees engage with portals and other tools as part of their daily experience.
  • Act as Product Owner for our Enterprise Portal, driving toward a single pane of glass that everyone at Organon will use for consuming news and services, submitting and tracking requests, performing approvals, etc.
  • Drive prioritization and program increments to include new features and integrations, based on business requirements and goals/outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and work closely with other technology, product & business areas to ensure workflow solutions are implemented uniformly across platforms.
  • Advocate for employee experience within the organization, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of technology and process decisions.
  • Establish a change management program that drives adoption and maximizes the founder experience of BT programs, projects, and processes, and champion the use of metrics and other objective measures to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, or other research techniques to identify opportunities and ensure that communications, change management, and training strategies are delivering desired outcomes.
  • Upskill BT founders by overseeing skill prioritization and training/solution delivery.
  • Deliver scalable technology training solutions that support the digital dexterity growth of the global organization.
  • Develop change management framework to be used across BT to drive programs, projects, and processes with a focus on user adoption and experience.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across functional groups to understand employee/team dynamics and build change management approaches relevant for specific groups/programs.
  • Work across BT to develop and deliver change strategies and assets to ensure successful adoption and integration of strategic technology initiatives across the broader organization.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' relevant work experience.
  • At least8+ years in Employee Experience.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile framework, Jira, or similar.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with and advising senior leaders.
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in organizational transformation initiatives in large people-based functions.
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests while working effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams to present coherent messages and execute on deliverables.
  • Forward thinking, innovative mindset.
  • Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively collaborates throughout the organization including team, senior leadership, key stakeholders, etc.
  • Proven record in user experience design with a focus on employee experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to run product design sprints and UX workshops effectively.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow and Employee Center Pro.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge and experience with M365, WordpressVIP.
  • Experience with agile projects of varying size and complexity, with excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally across multiple business units.
