Description: Land Forces (LF) Rotary Wing Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) / Sensors and Global Sustainment (SGS) in Orlando is looking for a self-motivated individual with a diverse multi-disciplinary background. This position will manage and ensure on time submittals for deliverables/reports such as Items of Interest, Monthly Milestones, Win/Loss Reporting, Tradeshow Planning, ETIP submissions, Business Plan Reporting, and other LF/SGS business submissions. In addition, this person will be responsible for facilitating the Orders Campaign Management and Critical Capture reviews, assist with development and communication of the Orders Long Range Plan and New Business Acquisition Expenditure (NBAE) investment plan. This position will interface heavily with a broad selection of Executive Leadership and will coordinate efforts across multiple Program Areas and functional areas to diagnose complex strategic issues, identify appropriate LOB goals, and make informed recommendations to senior stakeholders. Responsibilities will include providing an inclusive environment, supporting LM values and the application of the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives. Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of the S&GS annual strategic planning cycle.
  • Assist with the development of the NBAE investment plan and coordination of approvals with all key stakeholders.
  • Develop, analyze, and monitor profitability, productivity, and growth metrics including market forecasts, orders, and customer budgets.
  • Support rollout of the new corporate sponsored tools and any LF/SGS related pilot projects
  • Research, coordinate, and distribute DoD budget documentation and force structure material and related analysis
  • Liaison to all business units by providing open communication lines and support between Strategic Planning and their organizations.
  • This Strategic Planning position supports S&BD and the entire LF/SGS enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Power Point and Excel)
  • Demonstrated outstanding written and verbal presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to organize and analyze data for key recommendations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to interact with and present data to executive level Senior Leadership
  • Strong Business and Finance Acumen
  • Ability to evaluate Competitive Research and Analysis Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of MFC products and processes
  • Familiarity with military technologies and solutions
  • Experience in doing Market Research, Forecasting, and Analysis
  • Familiarity with MFC's New Business Opportunity process
  • Experience with Business Tools & Software
  • Experience providing & conducting training

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
