Key Responsibilities:
- Design and uphold detailed financial models for budgeting and forecasting, encompassing all financial statements such as the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Work alongside Operational and Finance Leadership to establish and maintain capital planning within budgeting systems.
- Collaborate with corporate and community stakeholders to guide expense planning, analyze financial data, and deliver insights into cost trends that support organizational objectives.
- Conduct thorough variance analyses, comparing budgeted or projected figures to actual outcomes, and highlight significant trends.
- Act as a financial business partner to various sectors, leading the budgeting processes and performing relevant financial assessments.
- Oversee and refresh organization-wide reporting packages to showcase financial, operational, and key performance indicators.
- Analyze financial data to detect evolving trends and patterns, creating insightful reports that reflect these analyses. Provide essential financial evaluations for special initiatives, investment choices, and strategic planning.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and enhance processes to minimize cycle time through technological solutions.
- Maintain and improve the existing budgeting and forecasting framework, including the creation of templates and models, as well as the design and implementation of systems to monitor and report trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with over 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, including Macros, with exposure to VBA and SQL preferred.
- Experience with Power BI is a plus.
