GCS is the B2B payments division of American Express, enabling businesses globally to pay for and finance what they need to grow their businesses. GCS provides a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing.

As our customers are changing the way they work and pay, we have been evolving with them by developing B2B partner-embedded and automated payment solutions so that we are seamlessly coordinated into customer ecosystem. The B2B Solutions team is focused on building a new business model, key partnerships, value propositions, and go-to-market plans that will address all customer segments, from Small businesses to Large and Global clients, to create new opportunities for us to capture B2B spend through these ecosystem partners, such as AP Automation partners, Accounting and ERP software providers, as well as procurement platforms & networks. This business has doubled in customers and volume over the last few years and requires focused attention on customer experience management and overall roadmap prioritization and planning.

As such, the Senior Manager, Product Development – B2B Supplier Experience, will join a team passionate about designing and building a product roadmap with a broad set of features and improvements aimed at delivering a best in class supplier experience. Paired with our Buyer initiatives, we will create digital platforms for B2B ecosystem growth.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for driving the creation of product capabilities and features with the objective of guaranteeing optimal customer experience across Supplier touch points with American ExpressBuild product development roadmaps and align with multiple partners on key deliverables Ensure effective translation of new user journeys into development planningIdentify key areas of opportunity within end-to-end product designs to build or improve digital self-serve toolsCollaborate with the Product Management to understand strategic vision for product growth, the competitive landscape and define objectives and key success metrics. Partner with Technologies to identify high level architecture and design for an optimal solution based on the business objectivesGet into the details – Create thorough documentation, translate business requirements into technology delivery, and get creativeCreate and deliver executive level communications, updates, and reportingMinimum Qualifications:Proven product development track record and deep expertise in design and developmentComfortable with ambiguity and ability to translate unstructured information to a structured, actionable plan.Proven ability to both focus on high level strategy and delve in the weeds on detailed operations Ability to balance and bridge technology and business needsStrong relationship building skills and a collaborative attitude Experience analyzing complex data and processes to find and drive innovative solutions Ability to effectively prioritize and drive strong results with limited resourcesExcellent interpersonal, strong written, and verbal communication skills, focusing on key messages and actionsDemonstrated ability to influence many business partners to drive business value without direct authority Positive, flexible and proactivePreferred Qualifications:Deep expertise in Business to Business payments and Accounts Receivable functions Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
