Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

Enterprise Data Sharing Solutions (EDSS) is part of the Enterprise Data Governance, Digital & Data Platforms (EDGP) organization, which sits within Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS). EDSS improves Amex data privacy & data sharing through the implementation of modern data sharing capabilities and strategies that enable faster speed to market while enhancing safe sharing connections. Within EDSS, we are embarking on an exciting and transformational journey to modernize our Digital Tracking Platform and processes, driving growth, efficiency, and compliance.

The Senior Manager, Product Operations will provide strategic program management support to deliver critical initiatives across the EDSS ecosystem. Specifically, this role will collaborate with internal product teams and cross-business stakeholders across Technology, Compliance, Privacy and Operational Excellence to deliver key regulatory and growth-related initiatives across the EDSS.This candidate will be managing stakeholder relationships while partnering with various lines of business, product teams, and second line partners to drive the creation of new products, capabilities, and experiences. Through the coordinated delivery of end-to-end solutions and process enhancements, this role will execute critical near-term goals, while designing a new way of working.

Primary Responsibilities:

Partner with teams to design and maintain robust portfolio-level roadmaps through proper sequencing and coordination and resolution of blockers/dependencies to ensure timely product delivery.Provide capacity & utilization reporting, executive-level communications & presentations across on-going priorities while flagging key decisions and issues.Particular emphasis on creating effective/impactful presentations to summarize complex ideas and recommendations.Monitor and evaluate the program's performance through regular program reporting, analyzing progress and synthesizing key strategic insights fit for executive-level audience. Work closely within and across business units to manage day-to-day scale-up activities, tracking overall progress, timeline management, and proactively identifying risks and escalating if necessary. Collaborate and forge strong relationships with EDDS Product teams to accelerate unified planning, discovery, roadmap creation and progression of critical milestones.Prepare executive-level materials and communications for a variety of audiences and forums on behalf of the VP's office.With the ability to influence others, often without direct authority, persuading with compelling data, facts, and conclusions. Support with change management and project management activities on an array of strategic and critical regulatory initiatives through close coordination and communication with EDSS Product teams. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in project/program management working on high-priority, large scale strategic initiatives in the digital space. Experience in internal consulting/management consulting delivering transformational change, projects within digital/technology and change management disciplines a plus.Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills with high capacity for strategic/end-to-end planning and the ability to strategically identify implications and recommendations.Outstanding organizational skills with ability to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams simultaneously.Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and working knowledge of product development life cycle. Demonstrated track record of independently driving end-to-end results across priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and executing flawlessly.Experience designing governance structures, effective operating models, and new processes for programs and strategic initiatives including process maps and documentation of risks and controls.Proficient in developing high-quality presentations and communication materials for an executive audience is a must with a strong attention to detail. A self-starter with an ability to navigate ambiguity, form solutions out of white space, and easily adapt to a constantly evolving environment while continuing to make progress towards goals. Interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build stakeholder relationships and work with cross-functional partners at all levels with strong executive presence. Has strong communication skills [written and verbal] with the ability to understand diverse perspectives and lead them towards a unified approach through well-defined business requirements.Experience working with C-suite/executive-level leadership. Prior exposure to FinTech and the payment/banking industry. Extensive expertise in Sharepoint, Confluence, and Microsoft suite. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus. Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
