Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Graduate Data Intern to join our innovative Strategic Data Analytics Team

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the analysis of data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data analytics models.
  • Develop value-driven data science models to solve business specific problems.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver accurate insights.
  • Help in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on the appropriate methods for applied data science and analysis techniques to support operational decisions or activities

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with A Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or project experience in data analytics is a plus.

You Must Have:

  • Proficiency in business-centric data analytics tools such as Excel.
  • Strong Programming background with Proficiency in data mining, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis. Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture. Familiarity with big data technologies and tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights. Ability to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing field. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
