Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting both internal and external clients by evaluating financial data, processing loan servicing requests, and engaging in various credit-related tasks to assist Credit Underwriters and the Sales Team. You will adhere to established policies and best practices to ensure the consistency and timeliness of your work. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support for specialized programs, such as FSA loan guarantees, as required. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing processes to improve efficiency and achieve credit administration objectives while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analyses of client data submitted through the OnBase work queue, utilizing various software applications and related systems.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures for consistent financial information analysis.
  • Input and review financial and credit-related data, compiling reports and providing credit support.
  • Analyze cash-based balance sheets and earnings statements, performing accrual reconciliations when necessary, to inform credit decision-making.
  • Gather credit bureau reports, lien searches, and other relevant information to facilitate the credit analysis process.
  • Perform financial analysis for FSA guaranteed loans as needed.
  • Conduct annual credit reviews for relevant clients, assess loan classifications, and update lending systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate credit and loan portfolio administration, including monitoring past dues, document exceptions, collateral value, and covenant compliance.
  • Monitor exception reports and collaborate with the Credit Underwriting team to ensure data integrity.
  • Execute loan servicing actions within delegated authorities, including partial releases of collateral, loan extensions, payment changes, assignments, consents, and easements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in agricultural economics, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in agricultural credit, finance, or accounting.
  • Understanding of core agricultural industries and production practices, along with knowledge of loan products and credit operations.
  • Familiarity with credit processing, accounting principles, credit analysis procedures, and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws and compliance requirements in the financial industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
  • Proficient problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM programs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Adaptable to changing situations and able to maintain objectivity in balancing business needs and risk.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Valid driver's license.
