We are seeking a meticulous Project Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team at a supplier of construction materials, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of a diverse range of building products for both residential and commercial developers, contractors, and builders.

The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the accuracy of submittals, generating necessary change orders, managing order entries, and holding field managers accountable. This position requires close collaboration with various internal departments, as well as external customers and vendors.

Job Type: Full Time, On-site, with potential for hybrid work arrangements

Key Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:

  • Facilitate communication with field managers to guarantee timely submission of verifications and data, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage post-bid addendums, proposal requests, and other related documentation.
  • Utilize expertise in building products to inform project decisions.
  • Document all facets of each project through contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgments, submittals, and various forms of correspondence.
  • Oversee multiple projects on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with production teams regarding lead times and shipping logistics.
  • Engage directly with customers through various communication channels.
  • Establish and meet project timelines and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications for the Project Coordinator:

  • Prior experience in relevant fields such as carpentry, construction, or building materials.
  • Associate's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and the necessary building materials.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Proficient in data input, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
