Overview

Specialist - PMO (Data Systems & Infrastructure) is responsible for the regions coordination, prioritization, and consolidation of all topics around connectivity & data systems under digitalization and operations IT. The position is the main contact for coordination and focuses on all activities around connectivity & machines production data for optimization & process improvement. This role will be responsible for supporting and growing the regions connectivity topics as they relate to the overall regional & global digital targets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Meet regional digital KPIs, for example: machine connectivity, digital ratio savings, OT Security,
  • Alignment of goals and tasks with manager to ensure applicable qualification as defined in qualification matrix
  • Collaborate regional & global digital team to identify new digital and autonomous solutions to improve the plants digital footprint and support KPIs
  • Support plants connectivity roadmap including solutions such as: MES, condition monitoring, Pro+Connect, Optime, etc.
  • Develop regional Network of Competence (NoC) to build up plants local abilities for connectivity topics
  • Involvement in hardware implementation and connection necessary to enhance access to plant's electronic data
  • Support and develop necessary hardware and infrastructure growth to support digital connectivity initiatives (tablets, PCs, shopfloor boards etc...)
  • Responsible for ensuring that all newly connected devices are secure and meet Schaeffler's IT & OT-Security guidelines

Your Qualifications

Required:

  • B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Programming
  • 3+ years of experience in data systems, manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Assertiveness in achieving goals and reaching project milestones
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Some programming experience
