About the Position:

The Branch Team Lead position plays a key role in supervising daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Collaborate with branch teams to enhance company projects and results, and cultivate an environment where team members are empowered to contribute to the company's success. You will work closely with the branch leadership team and report to an Operations Manager or Branch Manager.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Offer customer service and guidance on daily team activities at the branch
  • Provide clear direction to team members on projects, priorities, and company strategy
  • Enhance essential operational metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and operational improvements
  • Create a unique customer experience, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction
  • Deliver direct feedback to enhance team members' operational skills
  • Supervise counter transactions to offer appropriate guidance
  • Assist in onboarding and ongoing training for team members
  • Develop work schedules to optimize productivity and staffing
  • Analyze processes for improvement opportunities and suggest changes to enhance defined processes
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Sales, Branch Network, Customer Service Centers, and Onsite Services teams
  • Handle emergency customer calls after hours as necessary
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service and sales experience
  • 2+ years of management experience in a customer service setting
  • Ability to communicate the branch's vision to all employees
  • Train employees on processes, procedures, compliance, and product knowledge
  • Proficiency in computer usage and software applications, including SAP
  • Experience in operating powered industrial equipment
