We will provide you with the tools to succeed.
When not busy fixing boats, this person will be assisting some of our RV Technicians, who do a little bit of everything:

electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc.

If you can do any one of these, we'll teach you the rest You don't need specific RV experience, but you do need to be handy, responsible, and professional.

Both our Marine and RV Technicians must be dedicated, and have the ability to diagnose and fix problems, with a focus on quality.

Your accountabilities include:


Provide superior customer service by reading and understanding work orders to perform required repairs Examine and diagnose problemsWork with the Service Manager/Advisors to ensure all scheduled jobs are completed on time while maintaining productivity standards and customer satisfaction goalsPerform mechanical repair/maintenance, including disassembly, inspection, overhaul and replacement of componentsInstall and repair accessories such as radios, depth finders, electronics, etc.

Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisorCommunicate additional service requests, provide labor time estimates and monitor repair time with service advisorPlan work procedures in cooperation with shop foremanEnsure that the final work product meets quality standardsMaintain strict adherence to dealership policies on care and operationComplete story and/or documentation for client repairsAttend company trainings as requiredKeep current with factory technical bulletinsCommunicate with all departments when more information needed or when problems ariseTo be successful, you will need:

Marine Technician/Mechanic experience, preferredHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experienceMarine Mechanic Certifications, a plusMercury and/or Yamaha Expertise preferredAbility to diagnose and fix mechanical issuesMust have own tools appropriate to skill levelMust have a valid Driver's License with clean, insurable, driving record Valid State License & Clean Driving Record Required PIbf1b5356da34-26***
