Description

The Corporate Platform Program Development (CPPD) team sits within GCS, AMEX's Global Commercial Services business unit. CPPDconsists of 150+ colleagues located across the globe. Our team seeks to createglobally consistent digital experience and solutions across our Corporate program card holders and program administrators.We are passionate about being customer and competitor focused, delivering market-leading value, and creating great experiences for our products.

Reporting to the VP of CPPD, the Senior Manager of Business Planning & Strategy plays a key role supporting the day-to-daymanagement and operations of the team while also providing analytical, strategic, and thought leadership for key projects and initiatives.

The ideal candidate would be a strong problem solver, who possesses the confidence and composure to successfully manage a wide range of initiatives, whilst working and collaborating efficiently across multiple teams within GCS.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assist in building impactful and comprehensive presentations for key business reviews with senior management, business partners, team meetings and town hallsProvide planning and coordination support, including involvement in project management, analytics, and critical initiatives, as requiredSupport the management of business planning and operations (e.g., annual budget and investment planning, monthly budget accruals, forecast and team reviews, operating expense & ACU management, etc.)Support the creation of external and internal organizational communications throughout multiple channels including memos, announcements, Town Halls, etc.Build strong working relationships across the team, as well as with business partner groups to ensure good collaboration, efficient problem solving and creative solutioning for delivering on results Qualifications Highly motivated and action-oriented with the proven ability to react and adapt in real time to balance multiple priorities while remaining flexible and calmStrategic & analytical problem solver with demonstrated quantitative skillComfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentMotivated self-starter who is interested in gaining exposure to a broad set of functions across the Commercial BusinessStrong professional presence and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate, influence, and be a standout colleagueKnowledge of the GCS business and/or B2B business environment a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest levels of integrityOccasional travel may be requiredBachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
