Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broadband Implementation Business Development Manager with a strong background in program management to oversee the successful deployment of broadband services in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality broadband services to our customers.
Responsibilities

  • Program Management
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans for broadband implementation projects, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Broadband Infrastructure Planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and plan the deployment of broadband infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless, and other relevant technologies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the most effective implementation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from customers, regulatory bodies, and community members.
  • Budget Management
  • Develop and manage budgets for broadband implementation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in program management, particularly in broadband infrastructure deployment.
  • In-depth knowledge of broadband technologies, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to broadband implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) tools is an advantage
  • Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years customer facing interaction and problem-solving experience preferred.
  • Past team leadership experience preferred.
