The Salesforce Automation UX teams seek to make products people love tools that make a salesperson's day more productive, a marketer's campaign more powerful, or a developer's app more feature rich all through the power of automation.

You'll be surrounded with hard-working designers delivering impactful experiences to millions of end users around the world.

Our dedicated people managers lead, encourage, and support UX designers in crafting the product vision to build experiences that support positive relationships for our users and their customers.

You will mentor and direct designers to address sophisticated problems and propose efficient and consistent solutions.
You will guide your team toward career goals, using performance management strategies to drive excellence.
Your partnership with cross-functional peers in product and engineering will yield comprehensive features delivered to customers' hands.
The ideal candidate for this role is thoughtful, curious, and open to new ways of doing things.
You prioritize clear communication and elevate your team's work to product managers and engineers.

You set an example by advocating for end users, using research insights, and encourage your team to do the same.

Management experience, covering a full product lifecycle, from concept to release.
Experience leading on-site and remote teams to realize their potential.
Supported the creation of a product vision through collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build consensus.
A related technical degree required.

Bonus:
Skills in industry-leading design tools, such as Figma.
Experience making strategic decisions based on analytics and user research.
Expertise in user-centered design methods and ensuring accessible user experiences.
Can further usage of a design system, not just single-purpose apps.
Experience with, or professional interest in, next-generation experiences involving generative and predictive AI.
Experience with CRM or enterprise software.

Mentor, coach, and develop individuals facilitating career growth and celebrating varied perspectives.

Demonstrate behaviors, attitudes, actions, and good judgment that inspire employees to follow and trust.

Set the design vision for a product, guiding the team through its implementation, while seeing opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Drive initiatives across multiple application experiences, manage priorities, and set expectations with cross-disciplinary contributors.
Communicate clear and compelling ideas to key partners using documentation, reviews, and presentations.
Consider how design impacts ethics and equality.
