We currently have an exciting Fluid Power Outside Sales opportunity available based in the Houston, TX or Austin, TX metropolitan area. In this role you will develop new business while being assisted by our highly knowledgeable customer service team and supportive managers. Essential Functions
- Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
- Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
- Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your goals
- Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline OR a 2-year technical degree, preferably in Fluid Power; OR any suitable combination of education, training, and work experience
- Fluid Power certification is preferred
- 3+ years industrial or technical outside sales experience
- 1+ years' experience in fluid power / hydraulic component sales is preferred
- Application and troubleshooting experience with fluid power products and systems is preferred
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
