JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of the Systems Administrator position is to provide maintenance of the server and network infrastructure environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot all server, network, and voice infrastructure.
  • Design and implement new server, network, and voice infrastructure.
  • Manage 8x8 Phone system.
  • Manage Hyper-V and VMWare Hypervisors.
  • Manage HPE, Dell/EMC, Cisco UCS Server hardware.
  • Manage Hybrid Azure and Exchange environment.
  • Manage Cisco, HPE, Barracuda, Ubiquiti network hardware.
  • Manage Barracuda Email Protection Systems.
  • Manage Windows Server 2012R
  • Manage RDS Environments.
  • Manage all Backup Infrastructure.
  • Test and update DR solutions.
  • Manage SCCM Environment.
  • Manage all aspects of datacenter infrastructure, ie power, hvac, housekeeping.
  • Backfill helpdesk support team with helpdesk tickets as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.

Education, Training, Certifications:

  • High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, preferred.

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge allowing for technological improvement recommendations.
  • Experience administering large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
  • Excellent working knowledge of security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.

Communication Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.

Systems and Software Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of IT helpdesk.
  • Minimum 5 years of Full Microsoft Product Line.
  • Minimum 5 years of VM Ware.

Other Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to comply with SFPH's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
