Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer to join our team at the State of Minnesota. As an Endpoint Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and maintaining cutting-edge endpoint solutions to ensure the security, efficiency, and optimal performance of our organization's endpoint infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineer, administer, and maintain Endpoint Enterprise technologies, primarily Microsoft Configuration Manager, Intune, Adaptiva, etc.
  • Identify and participate in formal and informal projects defined and assigned within the Endpoint Infrastructure & Reporting Systems team.
  • Provide expertise and support related to other technology efforts such as Active Directory design and management, Group Policy administration, network architecture, anti-malware administration, and others.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four (4) years of IT related experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM).
  • Experience and ability to design, configure and support Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM), Intune and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory administration or administration of other operating systems or enterprise-wide software.
  • Experience and ability to develop testing methodologies and develop, implement, and document test plans.
  • Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
  • Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using PowerShell, PowerBI, and other reporting and automation services.
  • Experience with Apple infrastructure technologies supporting: macOS, iOS and iPadOS.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server design and configuration.
  • Excellent problem solving and technical troubleshooting skillsets.
  • Ability to assess and document risk for new technologies.
