Sales Ethic

The primary focus of our Sales team is to create long-term relationships with our customers. We follow through on commitments, conduct business with integrity and do whatever it takes to ensure a lasting partnership. We view Sales as a signpost to show customers where the solution lives. Our sales goal is to introduce customers to all the folks of Clear Capital who are poised to solve problems, create efficiencies, and deliver the highest quality product available.

We seek to build lasting relationships in the housing finance industry which we believe creates value. It is the responsibility of our Sales team to provide value to the client by understanding their business, helping them find the right solution, negotiating a win-win agreement and facilitating a smooth introduction to the Customer Success team. We treat others well even if there is no immediate opportunity. We are regarded in the industry as a group of nice folks dedicated to helping in whatever manner possible.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Convert prospects into customer relationships and successfully transition them to our Customer Success team
  • Sell Clear Capital products and solutions to new and existing customers to achieve or exceed RE Analytics revenue goals
  • Document all leads and sales activity in the Clear Capital's CRM and prepare sales forecasts for the segments you own
  • Develop high trust relationships with third party stakeholders (i.e. rating agencies) by educating them on our valuation products and exceptional service model
  • Identify new business opportunities and deepen current relationships with customers, specifically in the real estate, lending, servicing and secondary markets by working with Clear Capital management, business leaders, partnerships, product development, marketing, and operations support to prioritize those opportunities and integrate them into the sales plan
  • Work with Channel Partners and our Partnership Team to amplify product distribution and achieve channel revenue goals
  • Educate Clear Capital Customer Success Managers about how customers will best utilize our data and analytics products
  • Provide feedback to Clear Capital product management to enhance existing products and develop new products and solutions
  • Attend targeted industry events and conferences to attract new customer prospects and to nurture relationships with existing clients
  • Apply consultative problem solving techniques to successfully identify and address prospective customers' issues
  • Consult with prospective customers, understanding their business model while introducing subject matter expert(s) to evaluate and identify solutions that meet the customer's business strategy goals
  • Work closely with Clear Capital product managers and marketing to provide support and feedback of sales activity and pricing negotiations

Required Job Related Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics or related discipline, MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related sales experience in the financial services sector or real estate industry
  • Proven track record in sales of ML/AI based products, with an emphasis on new client acquisition
  • Working knowledge of the primary and secondary markets and related real estate asset products such as mortgage and asset backed securities and of real estate data and uses within the market
  • Deep understanding of consultative solution sales models with the ability to craft and communicate complex propositions
  • Success in working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts and practitioners in developing strategies and tactics that drive targeted programs and create wins
  • Experience selling in a multi-product environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal style, bringing a positive, problem-solving oriented approach to both internal and external contacts
  • Innovative problem solving skills to resolve basic to moderately complex issues
  • Demonstrated ability to research complex issues as they develop and present uniquely creative solutions
