We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Account Management to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding our account management department to ensure exceptional client satisfaction, retention, and growth within the existing book of business. The Director of Account Management will lead a team of account managers, develop and implement strategic plans, and drive the overall growth of our client relationships. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong client partnerships, analyzing account performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that our services consistently meet and exceed client expectations. Job Responsibilities
- The Flexe Account Management Team is designed to serve as a bridge between our customers & our operations using a consultative strategy to understand the customer's business, including their current situation and future direction.
- The Director of this program is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining strategy for retaining and growing existing customers, and driving growth strategies with those customers
- Ownership of customer retention through collaboration with all cross-functional Flexe teams including; Supply/Network Development, Operations, Product/Tech, and Business Development.
- Cultivate Strategic Relationships as an Executive Sponsor within the portfolio of clients you manage.
- Actively participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's) alongside the Account Manager
- Responsible for oversight of our quarterly SAP (Strategic Account Planning) process for clients that fall within the portfolio you manage.
- Work with Flexe Business Development to drive account growth strategies.
- Work with Flexe Marketing on strategic account based marketing programs.
- Ownership of existing house revenue, client retention, as well as ownership for an existing account growth budget.
- Manage a team of independent and high functioning account managers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years working in similar account management & leadership roles.
- Experience with warehousing and supply chain processes, systems, and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in the logistics industry is preferred.
- B.A. degree or equivalent Advanced degree preferred.
The salary range for this role is $190,000 to $199,500 depending, in part, on candidate location. Recruiting will confirm the specific range for the candidate location in the initial phone screen. All employees receive company equity as part of their compensation package. This role is eligible for a commission. The target commission for the role is 42% based on achievement against specific metrics.
