The description outlines a job posting for a Senior Data Scientist position. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Data Scientist include project management and oversight of the conceptualization, planning, design, quality assurance, implementation, and support of data solutions.

Essential Functions

They will provide service to multiple internal customers, including Air Operations, Air Safety, Quality Assurance, Aircraft Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Materiel, and Air Operations Application Support.The role also involves setting strategies that lead to the transformation of Air Operations processes and tools to enable safety, operational, and business excellence.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Education

Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline required.

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years of experience in statistics, modeling, safety risk assessment, human factors analysis, systems analysis and design, economic analysis, flight performance engineering/analysis, computer hardware design, computer software capabilities and applications, and/or computer programming is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to oversees the conceptualization, planning, design, quality assurance, implementation and support of Air Operations data solutions.

Ability to collaborate with multiple internal customers, such as: Air Operations, Air Safety, Quality Assurance, Aircraft Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Materiel and Air Operations Application Support.

Sills to set strategy that leads to the transformation of Air Operations processes and tools to enable safety, operational and business excellence.
