Job Summary

A Data Science and Operations Research Enablement Specialist is an experienced professional responsible for contributing to the integration of advanced analytics and operations research methodologies within the organization. This role assists in optimizing business processes and decision-making by working with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Data Science and Operations Research Enablement function, contributing to its strategic initiatives
  • Support data-driven solutions that enhance business processes and drive business outcomes
  • Provide support and assist in setting priorities for Data Science and Operations Research projects, ensuring effective execution from hypothesis to deliverable
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement
  • Support the design of user-centric products that align with business goals, enhancing decision-making and business outcomes
  • Clearly communicate Data Science and Operations Research concepts to stakeholders, supporting alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Monitor project progress and support accountability for project milestones, contributing to impactful solutions
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of best practices for the Data Science and Operations Research discipline

  • Understanding of Agile, scrum, or other software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with program and/or product management disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related discipline
  • Three to four years of experience in working with teams in analytics, data science, operations research, engineering, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership in managing teams and executing complex projects
