Position Title: Senior Sales Executive - Transportation Safety Solutions
Company Overview:
HAAS Alert, a leading technology firm, has achieved remarkable success with $5 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by providing cutting-edge cellular and GPS-powered products in the transportation safety digital services sector.
Location: Chicago, IL
Reporting To: VP of Sales
Compensation: $70 - $80K base + OTE = $150K
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential customers in the US and Canada.
- Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Full Cycle Selling:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments, ensuring a deep understanding of customer requirements and pain points.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, emphasizing the value proposition of our cellular and GPS-powered transportation safety solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop customized proposals that address each customer's unique needs.
- Closing Sales:
- Lead negotiations with empathy and confidence, adeptly addressing objections to secure successful deal closures.
- Strive to surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas; driving meaningful impact and contributing to our company's growth.
- Market Focus:
- Focus on serving organizations with fleets of vehicles and equipment in the Heavy Civil/Road Construction, Utilities, and Transportation industries.
- Industry Expertise:
- Leverage your expertise in technology solutions, including SaaS, cellular, GPS, mobility, and safety, to effectively position our products within the market.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, contributing valuable insights to our team.
- KPI and Activity Management:
- Maintain a disciplined approach to achieving monthly activity goals, ensuring consistent progress toward sales targets.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Sales Quota Attainment: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Objective-based Goal Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed monthly Objective-based goals, championing performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate 3-5 years or more of successful sales experience, focusing on selling into fleets or companies in Heavy Civil/Construction, Utilities, and Transportation sectors.
- Possess expertise in technology solutions, including SaaS, cellular, GPS, mobility, and safety
- Showcase a proven track record in full-cycle selling, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Familiarity with Pipeline Management, RAPID buying committees, and MAP skills, contributing to an inclusive and equitable sales process.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
