The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) is a not-for-profit professional association with more than 7,000 members. Your organizational skills and positive energy are just what we need to help us develop and deliver educational conferences for CPAs.
Responsibilities
As a conference coordinator at the MNCPA, you will:
- Determine conference schedules with guidance from key stakeholders.
- Establish relationships with speakers, vendors and task force members.
- Coordinate conference logistics including speaker management, facility and catering orders, and presentation materials.
- Produce and moderate virtual sessions.
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote conferences to target audiences.
- Anticipate conference attendee needs and troubleshoot any issues.
- Evaluate conference effectiveness including registration and financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, event management, or related field.
- 2+ years of work experience in a professional office environment.
