Join Our Team as a National and Defense Intelligence Lead Project Coordinator

As a National and Defense Intelligence Lead Project Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in enhancing the Nation's capabilities in Warfighter Support, Counterintelligence and Insider Threats, Scientific and Technical Intelligence, Counterterrorism, Intelligence Fusion, Data-Driven Strategy and Policy, Mission Engineering, and Adversary Intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide security, programmatic, and administrative support to project management teams
  • Communicate effectively with MITRE leaders, staff, government sponsors, and contracting officers
  • Assist Program Coordinators and Project Leaders with critical project management tasks, including developing and monitoring project staffing plans, coordinating with other MITRE business units, tracking deliverable progress, and maintaining project knowledge management tools
  • Facilitate and track security and access actions, including initial, renewal/revalidation, and account and badge creation
  • Maintain accountability for MITRE and USG property, ensuring compliance with all MITRE and sponsor audit requirements
  • Plan, organize, and orchestrate meetings, conferences, and events, including coordinating supporting services
  • Exercise discretion regarding sensitive information at all levels both internally and externally
  • Collaborate effectively with other Project Coordinators and Department and Division administrators to execute and improve project and division operations
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
  • Experience developing and documenting processes and operating procedures with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community environment; experience with IC policies, procedures, and systems for personnel, physical, and industrial security
  • Proven track record in managing and administering tasks to meet sponsor needs
  • Strong writing and editing skills, including demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics to sponsors and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative and dynamic environments that foster innovation in areas that provide enhanced capabilities to MITRE's sponsors and that result in significant benefit to the Nation
  • Very strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines
