Our client, a private equity backed company located in The Woodlands, Texas, is seeking a motivated Power BI Financial Analyst to join their team. This role is pivotal in generating critical financial reports using Power BI, specifically focusing on cash flow and sales reports. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills and a strong ability to handle adhoc reporting requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial reports using Power BI.
  • Create and update cash flow reports to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Generate and maintain sales reports to monitor business performance.
  • Respond promptly to adhoc reporting requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the CFO and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Utilize NetSuite for data extraction and reporting purposes (related experience beneficial but not required).
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting and data visualization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in creating reports using Power BI.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data manipulation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite is advantageous but not mandatory.
