We deliver comprehensive technical and administrative support to help our clients achieve their program objectives from start to finish.

Role Overview:

The Project Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by overseeing various aspects of project scheduling and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Owner's Schedule to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Compliance Administrator to integrate approved schedule adjustments and change orders.
  • Evaluate the EPC Contractor's reports to identify performance gaps and productivity issues, providing insights to the Project Manager.
  • Engage with the project team and EPC contractor to refine project cost models, cash flow projections, and maintain a risk register.
  • Generate and present routine analysis and updates, including:
    • 30-Day Look Ahead and subsequent 90-Day Look Ahead schedules.
    • Critical Path Schedule.
    • Milestone Reports and Schedule Narrative.
    • Key Commodity Velocity Tracking.
  • Coordinate with the EPC Contractor's scheduler to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Review and validate updates to the EPC Contractor's schedule.
  • Assist in the development of recovery schedules as needed.
  • Monitor progress on Critical Path Activities and report any discrepancies.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding the Risk/Issue Register and maintain necessary logs.
  • Track Potential Change Orders and analyze their impact on the schedule and costs.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of contractor and subcontractor work progress.
  • Ensure alignment of drawings with work schedules.
  • Provide essential information to key project stakeholders including the Project Manager and QA/QC Manager.
  • Support the monitoring of installed material quantities and verify completion percentages for milestone payments.
  • Participate in scheduled site team meetings and activities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive progress reporting and observations.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests from the Project Manager.
