Marketing Content Specialist

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Content Writing: Writes and edits content for website, emails, blog, social media and other platforms as needed. Assists in the creation and execution of promotional campaigns and content marketing for credit union products and services as well as employee and member communications and public relations efforts.

 

  • Digital Support: Supports various digital efforts including the creation and distribution of email campaigns, managing website updates and assisting in social media strategy. Creates and edits video content for various Community Choice channels and provides recommendations on the use of AI to support marketing and communication content needs.

 

  • Brand Management:  Serves as subject matter expert on the UNbanking tone and voice of the credit union brand. Maintains expert knowledge of current communication channels as well as a thorough understanding of branding and marketing principles. Collaborate with internal teams to discuss content needs, ensuring they are in line with established brand guidelines, while maintaining a high level of creativity and efficiency.


Who We’re Looking For:

  • Four-year college degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or similar field.
  • 3-5 years of similar or related experience 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships within and outside of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to be a self-starter and independently manage workload.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite, specifically video editing, a plus but not required.
