As a Billing Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert for billing at Elevation Point, responsible for billing through Orion Advisor, auditing the current billing process, and working closely with Accounting on projects that improve processes and procedures. You will be instrumental in accommodating the needs of new advisor partners through mergers and acquisitions.


To thrive, you should have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, computer science or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Orion Advisor billing system and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Salesforce. Experience in Addepar, Advent, or other investment portfolio accounting system may be a substitute for Orion experience
  • Experience with GP Dynamics accounting software is also desired
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • A keen focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization


Your responsibilities as the Billing Specialist will include:

  • Forecast cash needs and process billing, including accounts receivable and refunds
  • Act as the lead in internal efficiency projects and process innovation for billing
  • Document, maintain, and implement operating policies and best practices
  • Resolve and answer complex billing related issues and questions; respond to questions regarding advisory fees
  • Prepare data and reports for audits, due diligence requests, and as otherwise required
  • Assist in training and education of team members
  • Process commissions and advisory compensation
