AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) is a Top Workplace 2022 named by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and is hiring an Education Coordinator to support our Member Education and Events departments.

We are offering this opportunity to a highly motivated team player interested in providing exceptional support in assisting our Education team. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks, detail-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.


Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain speaker database, coordinate speaker communication and logistics, coordinate webinars, process speaker expenses, and create handouts.
  • Support logistics and content for Annual Conference, including speakers, food and beverage, audio visual, meeting room management, off site tours, and track expenses.
  • Research information relevant to special events.
  • Process expenses, tabulate evaluations, manage spreadsheets, and organize files.
  • Maintain speaker database and manage all speaker information, presentation collection, and brochure copy.
  • Work with content team and membership to secure venues and presenters.


Requirements include:

Successful candidates will hold an associate degree or higher in a related field and have a minimum of 1-3 years’ hospitality or events experience, as well as demonstrated competencies in:

  • Ability to travel 3-6 times per year.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft 365, Cvent and/or other registration/event software.
  • Experience in content management and speaker logistics.
  • Ability to remain flexible while operating in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to drive projects forward while anticipating risks.
