Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Education Program Coordinator I to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. This role will provide administrative support to the Admissions Office, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, visitors, and faculty, responding to inquiries and resolving complex issues.
  • Process applications accurately and efficiently, uploading and tracking requirements such as Dean's Certifications.
  • Manage pre-matriculation tracking process, including transcripts, Wisconsin Residency status, and other requirements.
  • Maintain records and applicant files in accordance with institutional standards.
  • Coordinate events, such as admissions interview days and Second Look Days, and provide administrative support to the Admissions team.
  • Prepare and compose correspondence, review documents for accuracy, and anticipate administrative details.
  • Coordinate calendar of events, appointments, and travel itineraries, and provide administrative support to the Admissions team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience; 5+ years of experience in higher education and/or Admissions preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
